B. Bell Jr. - Founder
and President
With
over thirty years of residential
land development and home
building experience, Julian Bell
Jr. is one of Chattanooga's most
respected business leaders and
home builders. A licensed civil
engineer in seven southern states, Julian
began Bell Engineering Company,
a consulting engineering firm.
in 1975. After doing a large
volume of residential
subdivision design work for
local developers, Bell
Engineering branched out into
the
developing subdivisions and home
building. A long-time active member of
the Chattanooga Homebuilders
Association, Julian has twice
served as its President, he has
served on numerous committees
both locally and statewide, and
has been named Developer of the
Year in 1987 and 1992. Julian
holds numerous certifications
and licenses in the state of
Tennessee. Among them a
Professional Engineering
License, Real Estate Brokers
license and State Contractors
license.
Jay W.
Bell - Operations and Sales Manager
Jay Bell serves as the
Operations and Sales Manager for Bell
Development and Bell
Engineering. Jay grew up in the
land development business and holds a Real
Estate Brokers license and a
Contractors license in the state
of Tennessee. He oversees the
new home and lot sales for all
Bell properties. He also
oversees the subdivision
construction, from raw land to
finished neighborhoods. An
accomplished heavy equipment
operator, carpenter and
construction superintendent, and
Real Estate agent Jay
brings a wealth of construction
and Real Estate
knowledge to our Companies. Jay
is also holds a B.A. in
Political Science from the
University of Tennessee at
Chattanooga.
Andrew
W. Morkert -
Construction Supervisor
Andrew brings a wealth of
construction expertise to Bell
Development Company. He received
a B.S. in Construction
Technology from Northern
Michigan University in 1992
graduating Cum Laude. Since that
time, Andrew has dedicated
himself to constantly improving
his knowledge of the
construction industry. He holds
a Tennessee Contractors License,
a building inspectors license, a
certified Mechanical Inspectors
license and is certified by OSHA
in jobsite safety and health.
Andrew spent 3 years as a
supervisor for Habitat For
Humanity and 5 years supervising
the renovation and inspection of
over 100 homes per year with the
Chattanooga Neighborhood
Enterprises Inc. . Andrew then
moved to the private sector and
applied his skills at building
as a construction supervisor
with the highly regarded
Choo-Choo Homes Inc. company
located in Tennessee.
Andrew brings a positive and
conscientious attitude to his
approach to building.
